Our Projects
Based on first-hand research on waste-related issues in Ladakh and the Himalayan region, we develop specific solutions and implement it with the help of the local communities and authorities.
Our projects testify to our zero-waste commitment, whereby we lay greatest emphasis on waste prevention and minimisation, followed by waste reuse and repurpose.
A project to educate women and girls in Ladakh on periods and menstrual hygiene, create awareness on the impacts of single-use menstrual products on health and environment, advocate for menstrual cups as a “No Rash, No Cash, and No Trash” solution to the problem of menstrual waste from single-use menstrual products, and enable to switch to menstrual cups.
